Venice : Small Canon
I never thought we could ever get to Venice because it was never in the initial plan. I still don’t know how mso did the last minute arrangements the way he did. Alhamdulillah we had the chance to stay for 2 days and it was one of those places that will stick to me for quite some time. Most of the pictures (except the last 3) was taken right after subuh. MSO had planned for us to roam the streets of Venice early in the morning when it’s quiet and calm. The morning ocean breeze, oh the breeze! I guess that’s the best way to enjoy Venice – just right before the crowds are starting to build up. We took a visit to the market as well because we were told that it’s the best place to see some of the locals start their day.
The big Canon mishap happened during our trip to Turin. But I assumed everything was fine because nothing was falling out (yet). Unfortunately it was on the 2nd day we were in Venice when the camera started to show signs of nak pengsan. It didn’t take long until the flipping mirror gave up and fell off! Tapi tak apa, Canon kecil sedia menjalankan tugas yang tidak jauh hebatnya. I was and still am surprised with its outcome.
Just so you’re curious, we were using Powershot SX200 IS for all the pictures in this entry. I will post more pictures from the big Canon on the next one.

Those masquerade masks are everywhere! Macam-macam jenis buatan ada. Including China. Hehe. We didn’t get our hands on those masks, unfortunately. The pricey ones are absolutely beautiful, one of a kind. I have those pictures in pending. I’ll post them up here as soon as I can.
ahaaa I was wondering why most of the picture have fog in it. it’s dawn I presume? And is the blurring effect comes with the camera or post-processing?
Oh Farah we haven’t been to venice.We were saving it to go with our friends. nnti you bole beritahu I where is the best place to stay okie? :)
We went out immediately lepas Subuh. I think that way baru rasa romantik. No flock of tourists to shove you. Best time of the day to REALLY enjoy the place.
Kabus tebal pagi-pagi! Hence the blur pictures :) Though, I did a few post-processing to tone down the contrast.

maybe Farah boleh bagi info kat mana nak stay, where to go kat Venice ke nanti. In case anyone (read: me)hehe planning to go there. Pizza dgn udang tu nampak sgt tempting!

Memang! Berderet kedai jual masks. Kat Venice famous dengan masquerade balls and costume parties. Tapi waktu kitorang sampai, the festival dah berlangsung a month earlier. Huhu, terlepas.
Farah.That is sooo great! Do u mind giving us the book? :) should take your advice :) pergi awal pagi2 lepas subuh…that way can take pictures without tourist here and there.. here’s my add : 21 hudson house, Kt19 8DJ, Epsom.
