Milan : Inter v Livorno
Both of us have been contemplating about this, weeks before Italy. Visiting San Siro stadium was in the initial plans but buying tickets to watch the match was all over the place. But that changed when we were stuck not knowing what to do during the first night we were in Milan. I remember how fast it took us to finally make it to the stadium and spent on what I think was entirely worth the money. It turned out to be one of the best experiences I had with MSO.

^We had the best view, the best loud and proud supporters and the best goals from Eto’o (which happened right in front of us, on our side of the field!). And I love how Italians respond to their home team. I had a different experience when I watched an English premier league match few months back. Certainly one of many experiences that’s going to stick with me for a long time.

^Our tickets (spot the error in this picture). They have 2 different ticket prices for male and female. Mine was €26 while it was €36 for MSO.
I’ve also posted a video and pictures from the powershot that we had on the entire match (down the entry). Not too bad for a compact eh? I was surprised to see the outcome.

Travelling info for the curious: Getting to San Siro Stadium.
Getting to San Siro Stadium during matchday is unlike any other days if you choose to ride the tram. On ordinary days, there is a tram that will send you straight to San Siro. As for matchday, we suggest you to take tram number 16 straight to Piazzale Segesta. Keep your eyes on the crowds as they hop off the tram and onto the bus that will take you to the stadium. You’re on your own after that.
Getting back to the city is as easy. Once the match is over, there will be rows of busses waiting outside the stadium. They will only move once the bus is full. Again, bear in mind that there is not tram services during matchday. The shuttle bus will get you to a underground metro station (Metro Line 1, De Angeli station).
